Our Head Teacher Welcomes you to Our School

After thirteen wonderful years of headship at a primary school in Shrewsbury, I decided a change of scenery was needed and moved here to St. Lawrence’s, in the lovely town of Church Stretton surrounded by gorgeous hills. I took on my new role in January 2016 and feel proud and privileged to have the opportunity to be this school’s new leader. This is a super school with so many strengths – the main one being the bubbly and confident children who are keen to learn and do their best. The governors, members of staff and parents work closely together to ensure that the pupils’ needs are met and that they enjoy school and achieve their potential. We have aspirations to become an outstanding school and I truly believe that this is achievable through high expectations and striving for excellence in all areas. Prospective parents are most welcome to visit the school for a tour and a chance to see us learning together and having fun!
